Identical in size, weight, and feel to the live unit — same 2.5″ × 0.75″ housing, same pull-tab deployment, same split ring and carabiner hardware. Blank orange flag, no lettering, no breakaway tab. Refold it and run the drill again.
How it differs from the live unit
- Orange housing, no lettering. It cannot be mistaken for the real thing in a real situation, which is the point.
- No breakaway tab. It is built to be pulled, repacked, and pulled again.
- Identical hardware. Same 2.5″ × 0.75″ housing, same flag size and weight, same split ring and carabiner. The motion you practice is the motion you will use.
How teams use it
Buy one trainer per volunteer, or a handful for the team to pass around at a pre-service briefing. Ten clean repetitions is usually the difference between someone fumbling for their keys and someone deploying without looking down.
