What it is for
SecuFlag™ solves one problem: a plainclothes volunteer has no way to identify themselves instantly, to the people who need to know, without wearing identification all service long. It is carried closed and deployed only when the situation calls for it — an arriving officer, a medical response, an evacuation, a parent looking for someone in charge.
The breakaway tab
The live unit deploys once. The tab is designed to break away cleanly under a single pull so the panel opens the same way every time, with no snagging and no second motion. That is what makes it reliable under stress, and it is also why you should not practice with it. Use the Trainer for drills.
